Donations & Fundraising
Nationals is the biggest event of the year and the major fundraiser for the BRTCA and BRT Rescue.
Fundraising counts on the support and generosity of the membership. The BRTCA members have been outstanding in the past years by donating to our live and silent auctions and raffles for Nationals. Several thousands of dollars have been raised throughout the years for the club and rescue and for that, we thank you!
However, it can’t stop there. It takes many generous hearts and hands to have a successful fundraiser; it takes the BRTCA village. Speak to people you know like your employer, vet, local pet shop, dog show vendors, groomers, neighbors, handlers, and online places you frequent and ask them to donate.
We are looking for a lot of help with fundraising this year. Auction and raffle items are in great demand. Nice gift baskets and items to make raffle baskets are really needed. Individual items that can be auctioned off alone or put together with other items to make a larger auction groupings or raffle baskets. We have no backstock sitting in a closet someplace, so we need your help.
Quick and easy basket ideas to make or items to donate are things like your favorite grooming products, books, dog toys, puppy cam, treats, brushes, shears, leashes, collars, a BarkBox or subscription, cooling blankets, training aids, whelping supplies, wine/alcohol, food, candles, and bath products. Are you a bargain shopper? Do you have a talent or know someone with a talent to share? Just about anything you can think of can become a gift basket or auction item. Artwork, household décor, wall hangings, jewelry, dog or human clothing, knick-knacks, dog bowls, grooming supplies, grooming carrying bags, neonatal supplies, cooling blankets, puppy warmer, crate mats, first aid box, crate fans, crate covers, silver mesh cooling tarps, standing feeders, X-pens, grooming tables, crates, blow dryers, clippers, show leads, ring-side director’s chairs, gift cards, luggage.
Need a personal shopper? Donate to the BRTCA and earmark it “Auction/Raffle” and we’ll purchase something on your behalf.
